CBD – Is it really helping you? Or Just another crutch for our generation to not deal with life

The Millennial generation has so many labels and stereotypes. Older generations have said that we are too pampered and do not know what real stress is! I like to say that we do know what real stress is; just our stress now in 2019 is very different compared to the past.

Now, I can throw around the facts and positive look into this solution, but I have tried the CBD Gummies for 3 months due to dealing with Social Anxiety and depression. As I started to take the Gummies, which are recommended to be taking up to 3 times a day, I decided to only take it 2 times a day, one in the morning before work and one before I go to sleep. Work can be a stressful environment and I also have trouble sleeping more than 4 hours a night. CBD Helped me stay calm in my High pace work place and also mellowed my brain so I wouldn’t be stressing or over planning the next day. Another habit I deal with is planning. I Plan everything out in my mind and with every possible outcome that can happen, good or bad. This planning habit can be applied to a social event, an outfit, a trip, a work meeting, or just my day by day schedule. So when things don’t go according to plan, I have a mini panic. CBD did help me stay calm and don’t let the changes or speed bumps mess my day up, just learn to accept the change and move forward.

CBD did help me, but I had to stop after calculating how much money I was spending on a product that was claiming to help my anxiety. I was buying 2 bottles of 20 gummies in each bottle at a time. One bottle cost $44.95 and sometimes on sale for $39.00. This was starting to become a problem for my bank account, and got me thinking do I really need this?

I decided that what I learned from using CBD was that shit happens, life happens and everyday will not be perfect or a social event will not hit your expectations. I learned what I had to do in a situation of panic or anxiety and I learned that it is all in my head. I have control over my life and how I let things affect me. I have been off CBD for about 3 months and I am doing fine , I really don’t have anxiety as much , but I also learn to just cut the people out of my life that cause that anxiety or learned to not put myself in situations that most likely have a bad outcome. I just made smarter decisions after learning more about who I am and how I work and what works for me. I learned what makes me happy and have made decisions and choices to only bring me happiness. Stop torturing yourself and putting yourself through experiences that are not benefiting to you. Avoid the nonsense and unnecessary drama of the world
